I have a mentally challenged sister who require a shower aide no therapy receives that already

Find Care & Housing
Many agencies have people that will do showers. You probably have to do a minimum of 12 hours a week but that could easily be done with 3 showers a week, personal care, and changing bedding to get to that 12 hours.
Care.com may also have people that would do this and maybe not have a minimum of hours.

I suggest looking on Care.com also, and communicating your wishes to a caregiver. You just might find someone by talking to them personally.

The caregivers I found for my elderly parents did want a four hour shift. Perhaps you could have the caregiver tend to other needs til fill a full four hours? Even if your sister were to get another session of therapy? Or, another alternative, I suppose, is to pay for the full four hours? I'm sure there is a way to find what you need. There is someone out there who can help.

It will be very hard to find someone for just this purpose. I was lucky to find a woman who would come in. She had done some home care but was a bus aide at this time. The bus would pick her up close to my home. So when she got dropped off, she would come to my house 3x a week in between bus runs.

Are you caring for your sister? I went to our County Disabilities Dept and was able to get help from the State for my nephew. He gets help with his rent, has a coordinator and an aide once a week. The aide can help him bathe, do light housekeeping and help him run errands.

I have really never heard of a shower aide coming to one's home. Most people who do in home caregiving require minimums of say four hours per day three days per week. You surely could try care.com or NextDoor. But I think finding someone who does such work would be somewhat a specialty, such as salon hairdressers who do in home care. I sure wish you good luck and hope you'll update if you find someone to tell us just where you did find that help.
